Rattlesnake Avoidance Training
We will once again hold our Snake Avoidance Clinic at Lee Martinez Park in Fort Collins (near the baseball field). Two dogs will be assigned to each 15 minute time slot, and will go through the course on a first come first serve basis.
ALL DOGS MUST BE PREREGISTERED AND PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED VIA VENMO, PAYPAL, ZELLE, OR GOOGLE PAY. PLEASE CONTACT SAMI WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
The next Rattlesnake proofing clinic will be offered Sunday, May 5th, 2024. Cost is $90 for new clients and $30 for refreshers.
Offered to all immunized dogs 5 months old and older.
We use both live bull and corn snakes and reanimated (dead) rattlesnakes in order to first test each dog on their reaction to snakes and then teach the dog that snakes are to be avoided. No snakes are harmed in this workshop. Bull snakes are released after the class and the reanimated rattlesnakes are fresh road kill we have found. We do use an E-collar (electronic) for the training.
Format: Owners and dogs will arrive 5-10 minutes before their assigned time and the course will be explained to them by an assistant. After the dog successfully navigates the course and reacts appropriately to the live snake, owners are free to leave.
Date/Times: May 5th, 2024. Owners will choose a one hour time frame upon sign up and will be contacted with their 15 minute slot within that time frame. Available time frames are 10am-11 and 11-12p. Refreshers will be run at the end of the training from 12p to 12:30.

Registration: To Register, please email gentlepersuasions@live.com and put Snake Avoidance Registration in the subject line. Include in the email your name, your dogs name, a phone number to call or text, and your preferred hour for the clinic (10-11, 11-12 or Refresher).
Cost: $90 regular registration, $30 for refreshers. PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED VIA VENMO, ZELLE, PAYPAL OR GOOGLE PAY BEFORE INDIVIDUAL APPOINTMENT TIMES WILL BE GIVEN. Refunds will only be issued if cancellation occurs at least one week prior to the clinic. After that time, payment is forfeit.
